Fishing permits (daily permits) for ice fishing can be purchased in the restaurant of the Berghotel Oeschinensee (directly on the lake), in the Tourist Center Kandersteg (Aeussere Dorfstrasse 26) or online:

The Oeschinensee is a cantonal body of water, the cantonal regulations of the Canton of Bern apply.
