There are snakes in the Oeschinensee area, including poisonous ones. Stay on the paths and keep your dog on a short lead. Stay calm at all times and move away whenever possible if you see a snake.
In the event of a bite, if you are not sure which snake it is, call the rescue service immediately on 1414 and the ranger on 079 481 01 12. Take a photo of the snake if possible and observe the bite site closely.
